It is prescribed for patients with significant knee ligament instability (MCL, LCL, ACL, or PCL injuries), severe knee osteoarthritis, and those in the later stages of post-surgical rehabilitation requiring both soft tissue support and mechanical joint stability.
The omega-shaped viscoelastic patellar pad continues to provide active massage and patellar tracking support, while the anatomical hinges guide the knee through its natural movement arc preventing harmful sideways movement while allowing full forward flexion and extension needed for walking and rehabilitation exercises.
